Ok so it's not the most dramatic transformation, but I'd already committed to the post title by the time I realised. It still counts!
This is a cropped version of the "Boatneck Top w/ Kimono Drop Sleeve" pattern by Kristen Stein. The pattern is supposed to be a long tunic style top, which I have also made before (and since lost, oops), but since it's built up out of repeating motifs that are joined as you go I figured it should be possible to just leave the bottom ones off and make something more cropped.
Took it on holiday in August as part of my me-made "cruise witch" wardrobe, so here's a bonus pic of me doing "influencer pose" 🤦♀️
