I'm considering building NAS using trueNAS. I'm new to this so have few questions before buying storage:

Can storage be mixed? for example: i put 1x1tb, 2x500gb hdd's and 1x1tb ssd. Is my data safe when one of drives fail?

Speed is not priority.
