I have a hot swappable 5 bay enclosure. I usually only have two or three drives on any given time. Because for some reason my brain is telling me if I have all five on at once something terrible could go wrong. Am I just being ridiculous? I also saw a picture of a guy that had would appear to be 30 hard drives actively rolling on his pc. I just care a lot about my data and wondering if having multiple drives on could ever possibly cause damage or an issue?
