What is causing this issue.. while converting VHS the audio loses sync about 20-30 minutes into the process. (zerobytes.monster)

I haven't converted in a few years but lately got back into converting VHS tapes to digital and have come across a problem that I wasn't having before. For context I'm using OBS studio and on Windows 11. When converting a VHS tape, the first 20 minutes or so is ok but eventually at some point the audio starts becoming delayed by a few seconds and never syncs back up to normal.

What is causing this issue? Is it my VCR or is it something in OBS?

Also, another issue.. there is a bar at the bottom of the image that is kind of annoying but it's not too drastic. Is this because of the VCR? Should I just get a different VCR all together?
