Model Number: SDSSDE81-4T00-G25 SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD

I am looking to buy a portable SSD for my father who’s been trying to wrap his head around storage issues for sometime now.

I wanted to know reviews and opinions about this product from reliability standpoint and pricing aspect.

If you are a user or have experience:

• How long do these last ?
• SanDisk says up to 2000 MB/s. How much transfer speed do you get on an optimal Windows Laptop (8GB RAM) running Windows 11 ?
• How many write cycles do these support ? (Is each copy operation considered a write cycle? Or is this scoped to only formatting)
• Any other suggestions are welcome.
