So as the title says it's upgrade time, my Qnap 251 has served me well but I find it's slow as snails CPU infuriating and the new Qnap os runs miserably slow on it...

So I want to upgrade with hardware being a priority for the price (2-bay unit but will consider 4-bay) , I mostly use the Nas for storage and shares. Plus my home cloud to stash photos and run a few containers on their ..

I'm seeing some good deals for Ugreen and TerraMaster better than equivalent Synology or Qnap models what are your guys take on this brands , is the better hardware with the lower costs ?
