Confession: I have been cubing for over 15 years but have never tried Clock.

I know almost nothing about this event. Any suggestions for a good beginner clock to buy?

I would say the QiYi magnetic clock. Seems to be what everyone uses these days. But that’s the only clock I’ve ever owned so I don’t know how it is compared to others. I know ShengShou also sells magnetic clock for cheaper, maybe that’s an option too.

I've now tried both; The QiYi clock is better.

Edit: I don't think the Shengshou clock I bought is magnetic... did I buy the wrong one?

Interesting. I've never tried any clock other than the QiYi one so I honestly don't know how weak/strong the magnets are compared to others. All I know is most cubers in comps I see are using QiYi so I just assumed that's the good one and bought it.
