That was the first dumb thing Utah has done. Their kicker is solid, but their punter has been killing it, and even when Florida scored, it took forever.

LOL, Ricky Pearsall has given up on any pretense of padded knee-length pants.
Second angle looked better for UF than the first. Tough call, which I suppose means it should stand (he said with no bias at all).
Annnd, there we go.
I've got catch honestly
"Finally get their first td of the year"
Easy there Kirk, it's still the first game
If I’m a Florida fan, I’m looking at the inconsistency and lack of discipline and wondering why Mullen was fired
Yeah, that game was ROUGH, but Jaden Rashada fiasco notwithstanding, recruiting has turned around. There is still a desperate need for cohesion and discipline to make this year's squad look like it can lead into better ones in '24 and '25, but as long as the trend lines over the course of the season look okay, then it's not panic time.
Mullen was always a fish out of water on the recruiting trail, so once he was over it and then didn't land an NFL coordinator job, he just... stopped. Then there were the assistants. Now lots of coaches, who understand at some level that everybody in FBS is pretty talented and dedicated, struggle with this, but he was definitely at that point where comfort level with his assistants was more important to him than the potential improvements from firing his buddies. He pretty much had to go, despite still being a very sharp Xs&Os coach.
True, but Mullen straight up gave up on recruiting. That's more unforgivable in college ball
I can’t believe this game is as close as it is. Utah could have poured it on Florida
I guess that’s the Rising difference
