The article makes some great points, and what Brianna said to the author is awful.
I will say, though, as a passing and somewhat conforming guy, I really do not like the increased visibility of trans people over the past decade. I feel more vulnerable and less confident in my passing. I miss when me being trans couldn't have possibly crossed someone's mind, because people weren't 'on the lookout'/obsessing over us.
Pretty good article, I was always annoyed by how much pressure there is to do voice training for transfems. My voice never bothered me that much and voice training is a pain so it felt lonely to be the only one who doesn't do it nor cares to do it
