This is a good read
This is a really good analysis of a New York Times article, and it's a pretty quick read.
I think I agree with all of what the author 's saying, but it seems to be leading to the uncomfortable conclusion that all journalism is basically propaganda. That's a terrifying thought.

Caitlin Johnstone had a pretty good article about how this happens. But yes, all media is propaganda. It's impossible for it not to be. The New York Times doesn't even attempt to make the appearance of not being the mouthpiece of the US government though.
