The FBI has issued a warning that cybercriminals are taking over email accounts via stolen session cookies, whether or not someone has set up MFA.

Again? I remember firesheep, where you could grab them over the air from other computers on the same wifi. Wasn't this supposed to be solved by https?

Yes, this is an ages old problem. I think people/malware are now stealing them from your pc
