Please use spoiler tags whenever commenting a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread. Most of the Lemmy clients don't support this but we want to get into the habit as clients will be supporting in the future.

You know there really aren't enough users and communities on Lemmy that spamming an article multiple times across multiple communities isn't very apparent and visible to everybody. I highly recommend in the future spacing it out a bit. Because I think the natural inclination of people when they see something four or five times in a row is to get annoyed at it.

OP did absolutely nothing wrong. It’s the software that is the problem. The fragmentation of the fediverse is at fault. Cross-posts should be aggregated together. People hoping to share the story simultaneously across the fragmented movies communities can and probably should do this until Lemmy has a way of handling this. I’m guilty of it too and I make zero apologies for behaving in a decentralized manner in the face of decentralized communities.

Personally, all you did is remind me that I should unsubscribe from any .world community that I am still subscribed to (like this one).
