Imagine feeling threatened by a wholesome learning puppet

I mean he did ruin sesame street ... but not for the reasons presented here.

He did? What happened? The way you said it and with everything going on in the media I’m half expecting you to tell me Elmo is dating a 15 year old or something.

Well at least he wasn’t going to diddy parties or speaking at trump rallies.

Poisoning masculinity and the minds of young men, you say?

If they didn't know exactly what they were doing, they would never accuse others of it.

It is always projection

Me: surely this isn't real

quick search

Oh fuck me

The way he's talking, it sounds like he doesn't know it's a puppet.

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

He knows. That's how fragile he is.

[–] neoman4426@fedia.io 12 points 1 year ago

Apparently that's legit a problem when a character like Elmo or Kermit shows up in real world interviews, Muppeteer disappears into the role so well the person they're talking to will seemingly forget, mic up the puppet, etc.

Threatening a fictitious toddler is definitely sane and reasonable behavior.

If Andrew Tate is masculinity, that explains why a substantial amount of men are complete shitheads who make the world worse.

[–] Flocklesscrow@lemm.ee 17 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Nothing says strength like an identity so fragile that mere internet words shake its foundations

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

from a fictional PUPPET...

Tate, just... stop owning yourself.... Go back to prison.

[–] Chivera@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

Why isn't he in jail

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

Men like Andrew Tate get mad when people are uncomfortable with masculinity and then proceed to accuse men of stuff that not even Andrea Dworkin would dare say. Amongst the serious anti man feminists they at least believed men can be better

[–] Akasazh@feddit.nl 9 points 1 year ago

If poisoning young boys minds and vilifying masculinity was cause for punishment, Tate should drink the hemlock.

up yours woke moralists

I don't know what Tates problem is. I love international women.

Also "oh yeah, ill teach you to have a problem with toxic masculinity. I'll learn you good!!"

Andrew Tate is just Jordan Peterson with a Bowflex.

Why does this have upvotes?

[–] BigDiction@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

OP adding a Lemmy stamp to the repost pile!

[–] boonhet@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The 1583 upvotes I believe are on the reddit post, the rant from tate has like 411 likes compared to Elmo's 600k.

I think they were referring to the comment they replied to that is the same image as the post.
