Yeah it’s been in development hell for a while.
Better they sit on the idea and come back to it later than try to rush it.
Someone else had this idea and I think it’s a good one: set it during the snap. Vampires weren’t snapped because they’re already dead. Maybe Blade’s been more casual about his vampire hunting since his initial outing because they’re mostly in hiding. This leads to the vampires becoming more brazen, leading to a big Blade adventure.
It would be a great way to show us life during the snap too.
Why do we need another Blade?
Because...MULTIVERSE!

No. If anything they'd cancel it altogether, no way Snipes is getting another Blade movie
~~because a blade movie had been announced, but a blade actor had not. that was more or less the official announcement that snipes would reprise the role.
at least that's how i took it at the time. maybe it was an oddly tongue in cheek way of implying he was killing the film?~~
