By "rookie season" that means 11 games played and counting, despite Davis "Babe" Schneider having a 1.442 OPS and the Jays seriously struggling in terms of offensive production. Since Vladdy, Bo, and Manoah, the Jays haven't done a great job of promoting guys from the minors, imo, they get called up and then ride the pine
