N 95/8gb - $499 after $100 Coupon

Relevant info:

  • all raid formats supported including Raid 6
  • Plex, Jellyfin support
  • Virtualization
  • upgradeable to 32gb ram

Most of the usage is going to be for downloaded critical backups from servers to an additional non-cloud source (me) for yet more backup redundancy (which would up the offsite & cloud locations to 6!) but may play with it for a variety of other purposes and it seems like it would be able to fulfill a variety of non backup tasks.

I was intrigued due to it being NVME as we have a bunch of these on hand - I think all in 2 TB format.

Anyways would welcome all thoughts from the datahoarder community on this. By no means am I stuck on nvme but as I was looking at synology deals I ran across this and thought "hey, that looks interesting" and we have drives on hand for it.
