There was a study out a few months ago that something like 60% of evictions across BC over the past three to five years were no-fault (i.e. not the tenant's fault). Landlord's Use is the new renoviction. It's happened to me twice in the past four years. Landlords are a small community, and they share a lot of information within that community. It's extemely obvious that they've "discovered" how easy it is to lean on Landlord's Use and most of the time never get caught.

Glad to hear they're at least attempting to do something for tenants. It's ridiculous how much this has been abused.
