I just find it incredible that the Labour Party which supposedly represents the Labour movement has been so successfully co-opted and overrun by people who so clearly hate the working class. Any principled movement could not allow it.

Tbf Corbyn was an anomaly. Blair and Starmer seem to be cut from the same cloth. I don't know what they were lile before Blair.

It's insane to me how cheap it is to buy a politician. US lobbying amounts are often just in the $10k range, I think.

Let's be clear, he was gonna do that anyway.

'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan plays over a montage of sad looking billionaires

For just one dollar a day, you can guarantee that these billionaires will never be obliged to contribute to society in any way. For less than you probably spend on coffee you can ensure that they will never have to face the indignity of owning a yacht less than 200ft long. So, please pick up the phone now. Operators are standing by.

Honestly I'm offended it was so cheap. $380 for $3 billion on tax revenue? You're supposed to be a major social democratic politician at Davos mate, at least squeeze the corporate ghouls for a couple million in your briefcase first. Even his bribes are pathetic. It's like his real reward was the opportunity to give up before even trying to do anything.
