If you sleep with your mouth open, statistically this will happen at least once during your life time

I mean so is a hamburger. No way an octopus survives passing through our stomach.

I assume an octopus would spend less time in your stomach than a hamburger would. Like a few seconds, probably. It would likely be fine just passing through.

You might be right, but I’m pretty sure if it did survive it would be pretty fucked up. Even if it was just a few seconds, that’s like jumping in a pool of hydrochloric acid and then getting out. You would definitely not be comfortable.

Hypothetically, they could exit and re-enter repetitively yes?

It won't do well traversing your stomach

Strap some brushes to it and let's go.

Sounds more pleasant than colonoscopy prep, I'll give it that.

It's happened to me before. Fortunately it was a small cooked octopus.

I feel... uncomfortable now

[–] archonet@lemy.lol 4 points 10 months ago

I'm going to make it worse: for every person this makes uncomfortable, there is almost certainly another for whom this is an arousing concept.

If I have to suffer with that thought, so do you.

[–] M137@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago

It could go the other way too.

Everything reminds me of Oldboy tonight, I guess.

Americans are safe. The edible food product concrete fortress will stop them.
