Excuse the noob question, I have a Mycloud PR4100 4 bay Nas drive that have 2 x 8TB running on raid 1.

I recently added 2x 10tb drives and also created as raid 1 but when I did this I had the 2 x 8tb out thinking that I can have them separate.

Now when I have all 4 drives in it, does it run as 2x raid 1 separately?

And if I keep adding files to the folder that was made from the 2 x 8tb does it continuously fill until those are full before spilling over to the new drives?
