I wonder what that means for Penta. Sign a short term deal with AEW so he and Fenix could make the move together? Jump to WWE by himself, be a solo act for a year, and then hope to reunite with Fenix?

Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred or just link the content in the body of the post.
4. Vague/Editorialized Title.
Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.
5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.
Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. Butt-shots you take with your cell phone at a house show aren't.
6. Banned Source(s)/Websites.
Due not necessarily to the content of their reporting, but to their harassing and doxxing of users, the following news sources, journalists, and content creators are not permitted to be posted on SquaredCircle in any context - including direct links, articles, social media, and reports that cite only those sources:

Definitely a bit of a head scratcher..Penta's not short on places that he's friendly with that he and Fenix could work together over the next year, and from all reports he and Fenix aren't trying to burn any bridges (assuming that doesn't change with this) with AEW so he could def come back for a year..
Only thing I don't see him doing is a WWE solo act. He's supposedly been clear for a long while that his primary goals in the business right now is working as a team with Fenix, not as a solo act. That being said this is a weird situation so who knows~

From where I'm sitting this is Tony doing the meme of the girl smiling while the house burns behind her.
I still think this type of control veers heavily into employee status and not "independent contractor" status and it sucks ass for Fenix because he's the only one getting hurt by this. AEW has so many workers, half of which aren't used, that him leaving doesn't mean shit, and WWE is so far ahead of AEW in terms of business that this doesn't hurt WWE at all either, so only the Lucha Brothers are harmed here.

penta and fenix are basically acting like petulent children to tony who basically made them stars even though their reckless style kept getting them hurt. i'm really so done with them; if they want to spend the rest of their career doing two minute matches on twitter be my guest.
