For making a backup to a secondary server of all files over my network, I've been trying out TeraCopy, FreeFileSync and Fastcopy.

TeraCopy & FastCopy has the option to verify the copied file, but it seem to do so by reading the file back over the network (2x1Gbps Ethernet) - So my question is, could the copied file hash be calculated locally and then sent over the network? This should make a significant increase in speed. Are there even a server/client version of these tools?
