House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) fired off a sweeping request for documents dealing with former President Trump’s prosecution for election interference in Georgia, asking Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) to turn over all records relating to the case.

Didn't he try this with NY and got told to pound sand?

I'm sure GA will, at best, slow walk this. I thought the GOP was all about "state's rights" and all that...

State's Rights, but only for the Right States.

They'll tell him to pound sand, just like Alvin Bragg did.

Willis: "We will absolutely comply. All evidence will be presented at trial, and become part of the public record. Representative Jordan is free to review the documents at that time."

Jordan is such a pathetic toady.

[–] Rapidcreek@reddthat.com 14 points 2 years ago

He already tried that with Alvin Bragg, who told him to take a hike.

Yes. NY told him to fuck off. State sovereignty et al.

Georgia has every right to do the exact same.

Prediction: He's not going to get a fucking thing except for state Obstruction of Justice charges.
