For context I have a M2 Macbook and a 4TB Lacie HD with 1.5T of data. I have read about ZFS, NAS Drives, RAID Devices, etc. I don't know where to start or how to compare these strategies in terms of cost or effectiveness. Basically what I am seeking for is a decades long strategy on how to store this data entirely offline that is somewhat cost effective and maybe some tips on how to maintain it as well as the best brand/service to go with. Thank you!
