The SSD is in an older Dell XPS notebook that was used for less than 72 hours total.

The cost of buying a USB 3 enclosure for it and the relatively low capacity makes me think it's probably not worth it when comparing to the cost of a 256GB USB C stick drive. The only use would be to use as an external drive for a desktop computer and I already have an external HDD and don't need a portable drive.

Are there any uses for or advantages of the SSD that I might not be aware of?

The alternative would be to recycle the computer because it's not worth much used, so I probably wouldn't go to the trouble of selling it, realistically.
