They said there is an electrical damage to the read/write head within the internal hard drive. Slight scratches found on the platter due to misaligned head scratching its surface due to continued power up. They said they needed to perform a head and platter swap within the hard disk to recover the data AND THEY ARE CHARGING ME $1,370 FOR A $150 DRIVE ?!

Why are they charging so much ???
