Hello,

after reading a lot of your info, I got to the point to replace all my dozens of tiny HDDs with a few big bois.

I am located in CZ/EU, so Serverpartsdeals and GoHDD are out, since duties and VAT make them not worth it, especially with shipping back in case of failure.

I am deciding between several refurbished HDDs that come with 2 year warranty, but still cannot decide which ones to pick. Sadly Backblaze data doesn´t contain some of them, since they are OEM drives and I do not know how much they differ between the production runs - difference in the last number/letter from the data in Backblaze.

Could you give me tips/help decide which ones to choose? My plan is to get 3-4 drives over the next 2-3 months, for Raidz1(or something else you recommend). It will store mostly not "critical" data, media, not family photos etc, those are and will be backed up elsewhere in multiple copies. But it might land there as one of the copies in some time.

I have found these with 2year warranty - manufacturer refurbished:

HGST HUH721212ALE601 12TB - 3218 Kč/128,7€ 10,7€/TB

Seagate ST12000NM000D 12TB - 3036 Kč/121,4€ 10,1€/TB

Seagate Exos 12TB X16 ST12000NM000G - 3130 Kč/125,2€ 10,4€/TB

Seagate Barracuda Pro 12TB ST12000DM0007 - 3241 Kč/129,6€ 10,8€/TB

Seagate ST14000NM000D 14TB - 3621 Kč/144,8€ 10,3€/TB

Seagate Exos X22 ST14000NM000E 14TB - 3797 Kč/151,9€ 10,8€/TB

Which ones would you pick, or wouldn´t even consider? 16TB versions are getting into 11,3€/TB territory, so I didn´t include them.

Thank you
