Hello everyone. I recently bought a Seagate #ST500DM002 on Amazon and am not having any luck with it and need some opinions on if it may be faulty. Basically I bought the drive to upgrade the storage and capabilities of my Original Xbox console that I recently softmodded. As you can see in the pics the Xbox doesn't seem to be recognizing the drive properly (it's the slave drive in pic#2), it says it's model #ST_M13FQBL and not #ST500DM002 like it should. I then unplugged the drive from my Xbox and hooked it up to my PC and on the Disk Management screen it only shows the drive as an unallocated 3.86GB and won't let me format it, can't make a simple volume on it or anything. Does this sound like a faulty drive? I did a little research and it seems like if a Seagate drive shows up in Windows as #ST_M13FQBL people seem to say that it might be a bad drive...opinions? Thanks in advance!
