Hello all

I've recently grabbed a supermicro DAS which uses the sas2 classic sff-8088. I have a spare HBA with internal SFF-8643. Getting a cable that goes internal to 8088 is a pain in the butt.

Is there actually any REAL difference in the 8643->44? Can it be technically connected to the HBA directly? It's a lot easier to find 8644 to 8088 cables.

I've also been looking at just grabbing two 9207's instead but shipping will take weeks from eBay :(
