I think I understand what you mean, but I see things quite differently.

The problem on this planet is this specific form of capitalism we live under.

Humans are the solution to this systemic problem.

The planet will be just fine if we kill ourselves. Life will adapt. Humans will just be another species that went extinct like the countless others

The great irony being that we, an "advanced" species, are going to be going out like the dumb little microbial oxygenators that predate the great extinctions... Blindly change the atmosphere until it's too late.
