Especially because even the structure of the joke has inherent flaws.

Poorly constructed, but oily and leering is 100% Boomerhumor
Ms. is fine. It's the equivalent of Mr., gendered but without implying anything about martial status. It's distinct from Mrs. and Miss.
I think the dumb aspect of this is part of the joke
