I'm interested in creating local backups of my cloud storage, in case something happens to my cloud account. However, when I try to search about this, all that comes up are posts about people backing up to the cloud, which is not what I want.

Does anyone have any advice or a good working model? I'm thinking of just setting up a mini PC that is logged into my cloud storage, that has a scheduled task that copies files to a external hard drive, which I periodically swap out.

Edited to add:

I’m using OneDrive as my cloud provider.
