making sure even the police report can't possibly claim you "weren't seen" after some suburban tank snuffs you out
Do byciclists in the US have to be fully militarized now to survive traffic?
It probably helps but you can still die.
Or use the sidewalk yeah
I mean, most drivers struggle with stop signs. They also get aggressive and confused if called out for being unsafe around pedestrians/bicyclists.
I wouldn't even trust this on my local roads. Cycling in my area is suicidal
I think all bikes should be allowed to mount a lance, and if you're walking out on the bike path and get spiked, that's on you. If you swing out without orienting yourself, that's on you.
People walking on a bike lane is mostly an infrastructure problem stemming from everybody but the car being relegated to the gutters.
Which is why I propose if you ride a bicycle any damage to a car caused while on a bicycle, feet not touching the ground, is legal.

Oh, much the same, don't get me wrong, but this is akin to divide and conquer, after the initial reaction you need to rise above
And yet some car in a hurry will still get behind him in the quarter mile stretch he actually has a bike lane and lay on their horn because they want to use the bike lane to get around all the cars stopped in traffic
that's what the is for
