Russian intelligence tried to recruit him and failed. UAV's have been critical in fighting as the underdog against a much larger force. Yet, the public is worried where his loyalties lie. This doesn't make sense to me.

He may be resisting using UAVs and FPVs inside Russia. There has been a tremendous amount of moment shifted by the last month of deep strike inside Russia. If he was trying to slow that down, it could be a sign of subversion.
It could be he fucked the wrong person's wife. Make up a better story.
