Currently, I have my entire PC backed up with an encrypted cloud provider.

I also have a Cryptomator drive mounted in the cloud which contains sensitive documents (passwords, 2FA recovery codes, financial documents, etc...).

I also have a 2nd Cryptomator encrypted external hard drive with a duplicate of the first vaults data which I keep offline.

Is it wise to keep my external drive encrypted or would it be better to keep it unencrypted, even though it contains sensitive information? I'm mostly worried about encryption corruption in the event I need to use the offline backup. Leaving it unencrypted would make it more of a risk in the case of theft.
