I'm planning a trip, 1 to 2 years. I'm planning to sell or give away all my furniture and things I don't really cherish. That leaves me with a few personal mementos, my computer and my NAS. My local storage facility only offers a 5x5 unit that seems far excessive in size for these few things. And it's not climate controlled. Anyone have any suggestions on where I could store these for a year or two?
Some more detail. I know how to package everything to ensure they are safe from the elements. I thought about family and friends. There's not really anyone that would be willing to store my stuff for an indefinite amount of time. Not even my parents, I asked. My closest friend, 20+ years, who would have happily done it, recently passed away.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very appreciative.
