I need upwards of 60tb of storage. I don't use a desktop I use a laptop instead. I hate using cloud storage as I like to access it whenever wherever and don't like to rely on internet.

I currently have a couple of portable hard drives with up to 16tb. But it's super noisy in my bedroom

Please someone help me out here. Was thinking of getting the 40tb Lacie 2big raid but it's really expensive and I'm not sure if it's really noisy? And also how it works. Do I just plug it in to my laptop and it's ready to go?

Any other recommendations? What is Nas storage? And how does it work? Would it be suitable for me?
