So I basically came to know I need to use a NAS for my purposes.

The ones I found on on newegg are this ssd one ASUSTOR FLASHSTOR 6 and this Synology 4 bay DS423+ . I am not confident on my choice. My intended use is a local file server (mostly small files, no media,~4TB max). However, I need backups/snapshots/incremental backups (honestly I am still confused how these work) at least twice a day, and keep these backups for about a week (If any small changes need to be done or accidental delete). Do any of these NAS offer such feature? Did I need to look for any different vendor? How much storage I need for backing up 4TB? Any suggestion is appreciated since I do not have any experience on NAS systems. Thanks
