Hi, I've a 10+ year old Seagate harddrive that is seeing more bad sectors recently. I'm transferring the data out now. There was a post asking about what to do with failed drives , what about failing drives?

This is what I've thought of for my Windows OS..

  • cache drive for softwares
  • Windows paging file location
  • temporary folder for torrent downloads
  • mirroring important folders as an additional backup
