New version released! YT Channel Downloader is a cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) open-source desktop application built to simplify the process of downloading YouTube content. It utilizes yt-dlp, scrapetube, and pytube under the hood, paired with an easy-to-use graphical interface. This tool aims to offer you a seamless experience to get your favorite video and audio content offline (i.e., back it up). You can selectively or fully download channels, playlists, or individual videos, opt for audio-only tracks, and customize the quality of your video or audio. The new version offers the ability to download age-restricted and premium content using your YouTube account [optional], as well as bug fixes and small improvements.
Please refer to the installation instructions in the Readme. On Windows, you also have the option to download the pre-made installer available from SourceForge or from Github Releases.
