Choose your DNS-Server wisely.

Run your own DNS server at home, if you can. In this way you don't need to setup any upstream resolvers. You just need the public federated DNS that is queried recursively.

Some advice as a Turkish citizen to friends who are new to censorship: never use the default ISP DSN. The simplest way of implementing government censorship is via DNS.
