(This is for personal use, not business. I'm on Windows 10. I'm only using my machine to sync, I guess I'm a normie. No NAS, no S3 buckets, etc.)

So, I'm sick of OneDrive, for several reasons that I won’t list here (unless asked, but it doesn’t really matter). I like the 1TB of data I get from Microsoft 365, but I hate their syncing client. So I've been looking elsewhere.

I tried RaiDrive, but it mounts my files as a network drive, which is not what I want.

I'm trying SyncBackPro, but I... don’t understand it. I've followed the instructions, everything seems fine, but it's taking literal DAYS to sync my stuff. It's so, so, so slow. And there's not a lot of documentation or help on the internet. (I really wanted to love that program. There's a lifetime license, and I was looking forward to NOT having to pay for another subscription.)

I'm looking into GoodSync, but the reviews are pretty mixed. It still might be my next step.

Rclone is very interesting, but I'm feeling a bit out of my depth. (Actually, that's what I used to make the initial copy of my ~200 GB OneDrive content on my machine, because SyncBackPro was so slow.)

Do any of you have any idea about:

  1. How to make SyncBackPro sync at a decent speed?

  2. What I could use to sync between my computer and my OneDrive cloud at a decent speed?

I'll make sure to update this post (or at least answer the comments) in my journey toward a sync client I don’t hate. Feel free to ask me to clarify if I've not been clear or didn’t provide enough info.
