First time posting here and I am just a little stuck on a situation I have.
The previous IT Head set up these 16 Bay Netstor SAS to backup and also work on certain data. He passed away and left no documentation so I have had to pickup the pieces. He originally had this set up on a Mac OS but we've migrated to Windows based systems. With that the case and the chance of mixed systems I figured it would be best to reformat the drives to exFAT, so I backed up all the information on different drives.
I have it connected via SAS cable to an ATTO r680 pcie card, and what's happening is the raid group is failing to initialize the disks in Atto Configuration Tool. Which I know if I attempt to transfer the data it'll just crash. The drives are all 3TB drives that were originally in the system.
Is there something simple I am missing on the configuration?
I tried searching online and finding videos but I am not sure what I am missing.
