From what I can see from many attempts to search for a solution, I cannot find a viable one. This also seems to be a well known problem. I have most of my PC backed up, and every time a drive letter changes, or a file is moved, it is re-uploaded. I'm attempting to organize many old backups, and files, and phone rips, etc. while also using IDrive to make sure if something is accidentally deleted or a deduplicator matches two files incorrectly, I have a backup just in case. This is somewhat pointless if the backup on Idrive is more cluttered, duplicated, and scattered than my original directory tree. Is there any solution available other than Archive Cleanup (because I would lose the very files I'm concerned might be lost before i realize they are gone)? I thought I saw a way to change the drive letters or file locations in IDrive, but I wasn't able to find the options to do this on the web version or Windows11 version. I understand if "IDrive isn't for you then, no way to do this" is the answer, and i suspect that it might be. As far as I can tell my best solution is to compare directory sizes and number of files and manually delete items from Idrive, or just let the whole mess sit there and slog through it if i realize im missing something.
