It's pretty skippy for a 20 year old machine. It's an octane 2 with a 400 Mhz processor.

Yup. We ported netsurf to IRIX a while ago which is a nice little browser that does SSL.

I have 2 octane's. Both would be better utilized as boat anchors. Cool to see one working!

I would like to, that's why I bought them lol. It's just that those fragile connectors kinda freak me out and from what I read I need a special monitor? I don't know too much about SGI machines since most of my collection are IBM/IBM compats.
