Literally how I play chess, can't be bothered to do math and just doing gut feeling... I think we need an full rules revamp for chess!

You can sort of simulate that with Blitz! No time to calculate.
Blitz is too slow. In bullet you can think up to 1 (one) move.
You underestimate my slowness...
Imagine taking a game played for millenia for fun and ruining it by following a goddamn meta you read in a BOOK
This is why chess is so much better when your stoned.
Its also super fun when your opponent realizes mid game they have been underestimating you based on that meta.
The more obvious i blunder at the start the more chance my opponent allows me to pull something creative that turns things around later on.
This is why I like Go better.
Yeah, it's easier compared to C++
Go also has books though?
My son gets nervous every time we play chess, wondering what clever ploy his parent is planning. Always seems shocked at my moves and contemplates them heavily before taking his turn.
But he's a fool. I'm just stupid.
