As an east coaster I used to go to Edinburgh all the time in the train over from Fife, didn’t step foot in Glasgow til I was 17.

So am biased but all heavy metal gigs are in Glasgow soooooo

Aye, all the touring bands hit Glasgow, but Red Crust Promotions and La Belle in Edinburgh are banging for gigs

Edinburgh is "posh" and Glasgow is "real" according to general wisdom in Scotland

Aye I'd call Edinburgh fancy so the US equivalent could be eg San Francisco or Seattle and Glasgow is an industrial city so could be compared to Detroit
