Renewables, not including nuclear, overtook coal in 2022.

EIA previously reported that renewable generation eclipsed coal in 2020 and 2022 and then repeated the feat in 2023. But those figures notably included other resources such as hydropower. Now wind and solar are posed to overtake coal on their own.

I wonder at what point will the renewables industry will start lobbying for itself the way oil and gas does. Where's Big Wind? Where's the country songs about heartland Working Joes working solar farms?
