Have a Qnap TVS 671 that runs my Plex server I have 16gb ram and i7 intel.. running JBOD with 21.46 actual space and wanting to upgrade to all 22 tb drives.. however I was wondering since l'm just running JBOD can I run each of the 6 bays individually? Reason in my head is if a drive goes bad then I only loose the movies/TV shows on that drive and the Plex server still says working.. put what I don't know is how this affects the server negatively? Could you lovely people help a newbie understand?
