So I am trying to figure out an easy way or if it's even possible to get my old windows installation from my old NMVE drive to be put inside of my new mobo,I do understand that it needs new drivers and such. I'm hearing yes and no from multiple different sources. So if I can't do that is it at least possible to put all of those programs and such on an External hard drive and then transfer it after a fresh windows installation. TLDR: I have a new CPU and Mobo,don't want to loose/ reinstall stuff,can I backup or put the old drive inside the new mobo?
